Through Social Networking
Since the web had really started booming with social media we are
almost certain you have had a personal profile at least from Myspace,
Facebook, or Friendster. If not then we are putting you on the right
track for how to find someone through these social network hubs.
They all have pretty nice search functions, and if you know atleast
a little bit about the person your looking for then you should have
a solid chance at completing you goal.

Now to start off with lets verify whether you’re looking
for a type of person in general or a specific friend:
Make friends on these sites in general
Go to each one of these sites (below you’ll find links to
a few more I took the liberty of including) and make your own personal
profile. Like they are explained to be, these social sites are networking
through city, state, location, and even employers or schools. Facebook
is more generalized towards geographic location, companies, and
schools. Myspace is more a big mash up with people coming from all
locations and regions but get a chance to communicate with people
far from their area. Myspace is like a bunch of strangers knowing
other strangers, but I would say the majority of friend connections
are previous to becoming friends online. Once you have a profile
start by searching by location or school, here you might find existing
friends and add them to your friends list. Otherwise go into some
groups and make some postings here you might find people with similar
interests to you that might make for a great online pal, so add
them to your list. Keep repeating these steps through all three
sites, eventually you’ll see your online friend’s list
piling up with buddies, next you will notice a lot more messages,
wall postings and social enjoyment on those boring afternoons.
How to find someone specific
If you have not already made an account with each of these then
go ahead and do so. Once logged in to the site look for the search
link and enter as much information as you know about the person.
Don’t give up on the first page (if there are multiple page
listings), sort through all of them, a few minutes of looking wont
hurt that bad, right? Do this for all major social sites.
